I've painted in the best of times, and the worst of times - at my wisest age, and my most foolish age - from a hopeful spring to a winter of despair I painted, and in mayhem I found meaning, despite years of lost sleep.
There is beauty through the cracks in the cement that defines our streets, and some of us bloom like wildflowers in the shadows of walls meant to keep us in line.
