Bio :
Zac Buehner was born and raised in New York City to artist parents and has been drawing obsessively since childhood. He moved from drawing on paper to painting on walls finding graffiti as an early teen, an important creative outlet he’s maintained a connection to for over 30 years. Buehner graduated from Hampshire college in 2004 and has worked as an art fabricator, metal smith, and creative director to support his art practice.
He began exhibiting work in 2010 and had his first major group show “Young Collectors” at Leila Heller Gallery NYC in 2013. Two years later he moved across the globe landing in Daegu S. Korea where he had his first solo show “Hide” at [B] Space Gallery later that year. His most recent solo show “Current” opened in May of 2025 at Vin Gallery in Ho Chi Minh City. Buehner now lives and works in Vietnam with his wife and son.
